When lust becomes love.
How many times have you told yourself that no matter what, it’s only just lust; an intense sexual desire or appetite! Yes, I do want to eat the one I lust, but not in a cannibalism sort of way. Lust can also be used as a noun, where you do have the desire of lust but do not take any action to make it a verb. My lust is a noun, I observe from afar, but does that make me a stalker or a pervert? Not unless I go out of my way to view my subject of lust. If my object of desire just happens to be where ever I am, be it at parties or work, then it’s legal lust and the law courts will not punish me for that.
The problem arises when lust turns to love. How do you know when it crosses that border? It just happens, gradually, unconsciously, it takes over your every thought and action. But is it still lust? Can you have the two together? Do you have love and lust for your partner? Does lust eventually turn to love? And when that love dies, do you turn back to lust thinking that it will keep your love alive?
Whatever it is, or whatever it may be, to lust is desire, to love is to be grateful, and if the two ever combine, then that is a bonus in life.
